Lucy D'Aponte

Lucy D’Aponte is an integrative physical therapist.  She received her masters of science in physical therapy from LIU in 1990 and has been practicing for over 20 years.  Lucy’s knowledge and love of movement first began as a dancer in her native NYC where she graduated from Sarah Lawrence College and danced with The Angela Caponigro Dance Ensemble.  Lucy has continued her passion for movement and healing through ongoing manual therapy courses, dance injury continuing education and is currently studying Ayurveda.  Lucy is a certified yoga teacher and a Phoenix Rising yoga therapy practitioner.  Lucy’s unique treatment approach bridges the knowledge of traditional physical therapy with the long-practiced therapeutics of yoga.  She offers skilled services to individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, managing chronic pain, weakness from past injuries, balance issues, and surgeries or repetitive strains.  Lucy provides compassionate and wholistic physical therapy by treating the whole person and not just their body part.  She also provides yoga workshops, classes and private yoga therapy sessions. Lucy loves working with individuals of all ages, yogi’s, dancers and anyone that is eager to be empowered to meet their wellness potential. Lucy lives in Winooski, Vermont, and enjoys spending time with her family, dancing in her kitchen, sitting in the sunshine, gardening, running, hiking and practicing yoga.
