Call for Water Dance Film Submissions!

As part of the 20201 VDA "Traces" Outdoor Dance Festival, VDA is so excited to produce a Virtual Film Festival of dance films based on our theme of water and water conservation. Submissions are open to dance/film artists of any level. We encourage all artists to fully embrace the theme of water as the initiative for this work. If works are not related to this theme they may not be appropriate for this festival.

The film festival will occur June 3rd-5th, 8pm nightly on Youtube Live, free and available to the public.

We ask that films are under ten minutes to allow ample opportunity for multiple artists to share their work. If your film is longer please be in touch! All films must use original sound or have licensed permission from the musician.

Within the application you will be asked for a link. We recommend using vimeo. All films must include their own title and ending credits. All links must allow the files to be downloaded.

Applications have closed.
All artists will be notified by May 28th of the date that their film will be screened!
