Share & Tell: Hip Hop for Modern Dancers Workshop
This class will be energetic and fun! As trained modern dancers we often spend ample energy focusing on alignment and technique. Hip hop class gives you a chance to use all that wisdom, but also let go and let loose. The class will begin with light strength training, and then move into foot work. We will focus on musicality and finding the down beat. We will then journey into isolations and floor work (including some basic breaking steps and inversions). The last half hour of the class we will dive into choreography that is both rhythmic and joyous.
