Garden Dances- July 2020!

Join artist and choreographer Hanna Satterlee for this summer site-specific performance making workshop in the beautiful Horsford Gardens! With guided structures for creating (socially-distanced) group, solo and duet work around the gardens, we will use the landscape and the environment as our key inspiration and active collaborator. The five-day workshop will culminate in a public showing of our magical movement tour. This workshop is open to all body types and abilities and will accommodate any interested participants. Specifically suited for dancers and choreographers interested in creating choreography in an outdoor setting.

The workshops and performance will be tailored to COVID-19 rules and regulations, including appropriate space between all bodies. Participants must bring their own water and snacks, mask, garden gloves and disinfectant materials, a journal and pen, and wear comfortable clothes and sturdy supportive shoes. Space is limited to 9 participants. Audience size will be determined based on state guidelines.

All registrations will be through email, payment due by July 10th through venmo, paypal, or mail. Please email hannasatt@gmail.com for details.
