m sara McMahon has been involved in the research, teaching, and performing of movement/dance for over 40 years. In 2014 she developed the Movement for Parkinson's® program to bring dance/movement to the Vermont Parkinson's community. She is a Dance for PD® Certified Teacher. MfPD classes invite movement making that opens the body to the flow of energy that is inherent in movement. Classes incorporate basic movement fundamentals that enliven body awareness, improve flexibility and range of motion, reinforce postural stability, and enhances ones ability to move with confidence. Class is infused with a diverse selection of music that inspires and invigorates the spirit.

The Flynn Center is a full-service home for the performing arts in the region; offers a wide range of cultural and educational experiences; and nurtures the creative development of performing artists.
