Resilient Dancing: Fall 2020 Online Class Series

In acknowledging the immediacy of current racial and social justice movements, VDA is looking closely at how we continue to do our outreach and how we can be even more inclusive in our offerings. From September-December 2020, ten Vermont Dance Alliance teaching artists will be hired to each run a three-week online class series. Class styles will introduce many genres of dance and will be tailored to diverse populations and communities.

Examples: Adaptive Dance, Belly, Tango, Composition for teens, Intergenerational dancing, Movement for people living with Parkinson's disease, Healing arts for women and survivors of trauma, Somatic practices for families, Integrated arts, Creative movement and dance for young children, Resilient movement for seniors, LGBTQ+ focus groups, and more.

Please note applicants must be current VDA members, and all teachers must have teaching insurance.

Applications are due by 9pm on July 15th.
