Danielle LaPlante is a dancer and choreographer from the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Danielle has been dancing since she was little to her dad's Frampton Comes Alive record and her mom's Madonna cassette tapes in her parent's living room. Danielle's dancing is a mix of exploratory and traditional dance training as she didn't start dancing until high school. Danielle was inspired by her high school dance instructor/director Cheri Skurdall at NCUHS in Newport, VT to continue to dance throughout her adult life. Danielle studied exercise science/dance at Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, VT earning her B.S. in Exercise Science, Pre-Prof Athletic Training. Danielle also studied modern/contemporary dance in Mississippi at the University of Southern Mississippi and at Johnson State College in Johnson, VT. Danielle has experience in different styles of dance such as Modern, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet, Lyrical/Contemporary. Danielle taught Modern, Lyrical, Jazz, and Hip Hop for 5 years at Dance Images by Heidi in Lyndonville, VT under Heidi Broome. Danielle has performed in variety shows, community events, workshops and in music videos for Vermont native singer/songwriter Tod Pronto. Danielle also had the honor of dancing/performing at the podium of the Vermont State House in Montpelier, VT with singer/songwriter Tod Pronto as part of the morning devotion. Danielle is also a Physical Therapy Aide, Yoga Instructor, Dance Instructor, Massage Therapist, and Reiki Practitioner at Freedom Physical Therapy/Mind, Body, Movement Center in Newport, Vermont.
