As part of the 20201 VDA "Traces" Outdoor Dance Festival, VDA is so excited to produce a Virtual Film Festival of dance films based on our theme of water and water conservation. Submissions are open to dance/film artists of any level. We encourage all artists to fully embrace the theme of water as the initiative for this work. If works are not related to this theme they may not be appropriate for this festival.

Unfiltered Spirits is a live, online showcase series intended to feature the work of visual and performing artists throughout Vermont. Three artists will be featured per episode, for a total of nine artists. For a chance to participate, you must simply apply. Selections to participate will not be based on critical evaluation. Smart Artist will separate artist submissions by discipline, so as to represent as disparate a collection of artists as possible, then select an artist from each discipline at random, until all nine slots are filled. Unfiltered Spirits is not a competition.
